October 17, 2018
Those of us living in Antelope CA apartments are in for an extra special treat this October. With Halloween right around the corner, it’s great knowing that there are plenty of entertaining and thrilling events happening to celebrate this spooky season.
Some people really get into the spirit of Halloween and go all out and decorate their home, dress-up, buy plenty of candy for the kids, and truly embrace All Hollows Eve. Other members of the community might not be as excited about this scary holiday and they might not necessarily appreciate Pumpkin Nights.
What is Pumpkin Nights exactly? Well, it’s an extra special event that comes to the Los Angeles area during the Halloween season. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking to do something entertaining with your family or if you’re young and you’d like to get together with your friends to have a fun and scary time, then this is certainly going to be right in your wheelhouse.
With that said, we’ll now take a look at Pumpkin Nights and everything that it entails. To learn more about this spookily spectacular event, stick around to read our descriptions of all of the ghoulishly good things to come.
When Will the Pumpkin Nights Fun Festivities Begin?
In the LA area, the Pumpkin Nights festivities are going to begin on October 12 and they will end on November 4. Each night, the excitement begins at 5 PM and they close their doors at 10 PM. The event is being held at the Fairplex at 1101 W McKinley Avenue, Pomona, CA 91768.
As far as ticket prices are concerned, the prices will vary depending on your age. For adults between the ages of 13 to 59, general admission costs $20. For younger children between the ages of 4 and 12, a general admission ticket costs $16. For senior citizens 60 years or older, a general admission ticket costs $16. A family pack of tickets for two adults and two younger children costs $60. And finally, children 3 years of age or under can enter into Pumpkin Nights for free.
Believe it or not, they also offer specials that will let you get tickets at a discounted price. The only catch to the Night Owl Specials is that you have to wait until 8 PM to enter into the park, so you’ll only be able to enjoy the festivities for two hours because it closes at 10 PM.
If the night owl special seems interesting to you, we’ll share a breakdown of the pricing structure now. Adults 13 years old to 59 years old pay $14 for a night owl ticket. Younger children between the ages of 4 years old and 12 years old pay $12 for their night owl ticket. Senior citizens 60 years or older also pay $12 for their night owl ticket. The night owl family ticket pack for two adults and two younger children is $40. And no matter what, children 3 years of age and younger can enter into the park for free.
Finally, they also have on-site sales and group ticket rates. You have to contact the organizers via their website to find out pricing for larger groups of 10 people or more.
What Can Festivalgoers Expect to Do at the Pumpkin Nights Festival?
As festivalgoers are looking to enjoy the fun and excitement at Pumpkin Nights, you’ll have an opportunity to immediately take advantage of all of the wonderful activities that they have lined up for you from the moment you enter into the park via the front gates.
Right off the bat, you’ll immediately enter Pumpkin Central, which is the main area of the entire festival. From here you can decide what you’d like to do first and make your decision from this point moving forward.
As an example, if you immediately enter into Pumpkin Central, you have an opportunity to take advantage of the amazing food and beverages on offer. So if you like coming to these spectacular events for all of the tasty food and desserts, you’re definitely in for a Halloween themed treat this year because there is going to be amazing food for all to enjoy.
Next, you’ll also have a chance to take a photo op if that’s something you are interested in. The entire festival is going to be decorated with real and designed pumpkins and other Halloween themed decorations. So you and your family might want to get a professional photo of the event that you can bring home to keep this fun memory alive for many years to come.
One of the main attractions of Pumpkin Nights is The Spirit of Pumpkins fire show. In the fire show, they will have fire breathers and dancers put on a spectacular pageant just for you to enjoy and truly appreciate their talents. Other forms of entertainment include pumpkin magic, pumpkin artists, food from local restaurants and food trucks, plenty of tasty desserts and hot chocolate, apple cider another adult beverages, and there’s basically something for everyone to enjoy.
The kids are going to love this event as well. They have a themed costume night, Andrea’s face painting, movie screenings of Coco, and The Dancing Fire Entertainment Group puts on a remarkable show.
Some days are going to have more events than others. So we recommend visiting their website, clicking Los Angeles, and scrolling date by date to pick the perfect time to visit based on the events and interesting things happening on that particular night.
